Fiona Bren is known well around her town as the "quiet one", due to the fact that she rarely has time to leave her house to make friends. She finds comfort and friendship in the prescence of her horses. A true outdoorswoman, Fiona can often be found hanging out at the park under a tree with her favorite horse, or training into the wee hours of the night to perfect her jumps before a big show. Despite her seemingly quiet demeanor, Fiona is one of the friendliest sims you will ever meet. She always has a kind word to share, even with a stranger. She never turns away a stray looking for a place to stay for the night, or just a bite to eat. Fiona is so at home around horses, she rarely finds a reason to leave her barn. She even had living quarters built directly onto the barn, so she would never have to! She is very hands-on with all of her horses, and has a special bond with each and every one of them! Growing up, her parents wondered if she would make it past 5 without a broken bone. She would make up crazy stunts to jump on horseback. Thanks to the special bond she had with her horse, Tindall, he always knew when to put on a stubborn front and refuse to jump! Her daredevil streak has carried on into adulthood; but after several broken bones, concussions and near misses, Fiona has learned her lesson and keeps her wild side under wraps, mostly! |
Charismas Photo Album
Charisma had always been a 'party girl', she never took life seriously up until now. She met the love of her life in college, but that was all ripped away from her when his life was taken in a car crash after a particularly crazy night out on the town. But that was three years ago, she has now finally picked up the pieces of her shattered heart and is attempting to get on with her life - One day at a time. She knows the pain will never go away, but if she keeps herself busy, she just might be able to live a normal life again, someday.
One day she woke up, looked at herself in the mirror and thought "this isn't living". That day she got out of bed, she took a shower for the first time in 3 months, she got dressed in something other than pajamas for the first time since her loves funeral, she did her hair and makeup, and got into her car for the long trip to visit her sister, Fiona.
Fiona had been there for Charisma for the first year after his death. Charisma did not welcome the company though, she wanted nothing more than to be alone. Fiona refused to leave though, she knew deep down that her baby sister needed her. But after a year of her sisters constant crying, screaming in her sleep, and refusing any help...Fiona knew Char needed professional help. Fiona left and went back to her farm, but had a nurse sent to check on Charisma three times a week.
So when Charisma showed up on Fiona's door, all 'dolled up' and looking like she was ready to stand on a street corner all night, Fiona knew something had changed in Char, she was coming back to her normal self. So Fiona would do ANYTHING to help her continue with her healing process in any way she could. Charisma may have looked like her old self again, but she wasn't acting like herself. Something inside her had snapped, she wasn't all about partying anymore, she wasn't a hopeless romantic, she wasn't the same outgoing person she once was. She told Fiona she wanted to help out at the Estate. It was half hers too, afterall. Fiona couldn't believe what she was hearing, Char had never had any interest in the horses at all. "Extra Large, Filthy, Disgusting Varments" was the nickname Char had had for horses when they were teenagers. Since Fiona had just hired on Amelia and Jebidiah, she really had nowhere to put Charisma to work. So she decided to expand the farm! And that is where the Clydesdales come in.
Fiona chose Clydesdales for a specific reason...They are one of the largest horse breeds, yet also one of the gentlest. They will help Charisma see that horses are wonderful creatures, and just because they are intimidating in size, they can still be extremely tame and wonderful lifelong friends. Fiona had a new lot built specifically for Char and her Clydes. The barn is connected to the house, so Charisma cannot get away from the horses, nor can she forget to take care of them. If Char begins to slip back into her depression, the horses will be right there to help her through it. Caring for horses can be a very healing experience, so Fiona has high hopes for Charisma.

Brave Handy Equestrian Genius
Hopeless Romantic Virgo - Dark Wave - Black - Pancakes Winston was hired on to train and show the western horses at Hidden Hills. He had never been to a working stable before, let alone any stable at all. Winston grew up in a family smothered in poverty. His mother was hooked on potions, and was always found on the local corner trying to sell worthless gems to unsuspecting sims, just to afford her next fix of ingredients for a Bladder Flow potion to use on Winston. She was obsessed with humiliating her son in public, and it worked. Winstons father was a loner, and lacked motivation. He sat on the couch all day and scratched himself while watching Romance TV shows. He also 'collected' cats (not surprised, are ya?). All of their furniture was destroyed by the untrained cats. They also couldn't afford a litter box...well, you see where this is going. When Winston saw Fiona's AD on SimsList, he knew that would be his only chance of getting out before he was dragged down the same path as his parents. Despite having no experience, he did have an extremely potent love for equine, and knew he could do it. She decided to give him a chance, and hasn't ever regretted her decision. |
Amelias Photo Album Equestrian Neurotic Brave Friendly Insane
Amelia is in charge of training horses for the english show rings. Despite her personality flaws, she is an excellent horsewoman, and all of our horses excel in their chosen disciplines. Amelia was once a lonely young woman, looking for love, until she put a dating profile up on SimsList, and met the man of her dreams, Jebidiah. They have a lot of differences, but like they say, opposites attract. They now have two children, Somara and Hudson. Hudson embraces the 'dark side' like his father, while Somara takes after her mother. More coming soon. |
